3 Fonteinen Brewery was founded in Beersel, Belgium in 1887 by Jacobus Vanderlinden. In 1953 the business was sold by Vanderlinden’s son to Gaston De Belder and his wife Raymonde Dedoncker. They passed the business to their sons Armand and Guido in 1982. In 2002 the pair split the business, with Guido runnin the cafe and Guido running the brewery. He retired in 2019, and sold the business to his three partners, Michaël Blanckaert, Werner Van Obberghen and Geert Duyck.
