False Idol Brewing was founded in 2020 in North Richland Hills, Texas by Dominique Van Ausdall. The lease for the brewery’s space was procured in 2018, but contractor delays pushed the opening of the brewery into the beginning of the Covid pandemic. Nonetheless, False Idol persisted and made it through the shutdown intact.
