Garage Beer was introduced in 2018 in Covington, Kentucky by Braxton Brewery, owned by brothers Evan and Jake Rouse. The beer was spun off into its own company in 2023. The Rouses retained a minority stake, but brand marketer Andrew Sauer became the President and primary owner. In 2024, football players Travis and Jason Kelce purchased a “significant” stake in the beer, making them the largest investors.
