Křušovice is a well-known Czech beer brand. It was created in 1581 in the town of Kř̌iče, Austria (now Czech Republic). Two years later, it was purchased by Emporor Rudolph II, and was held by the crown of Austria until 1685, when it was purchased by Arnošt Josef Waldstein. In 1945, the brewery became state owned, which lasted until 1993, when it was bought by the Binding Group, which later became known as the Radeberger Group. They held the company until 2007, when rights to the brand outside of Germany were sold to Heineken.
