Midland Brewing Company was founded in Midland, Michigan in 2010 by Keith Lawrence. The brewery takes its name from a previous brewery in the area, which was founded in 1935. In 2016, Midland nearly went bankrupt, and Dave Kepler purchased a majority stake in the business.
