Over-The-Rhine Cider was first brewed in 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio by Christian Moerlein Brewing, which was owned at the time by Greg Hardman. The brand was discontinued in 2018. Hardman held the company until 2020, when he sold all brands to a new investment group led by Jay Woffington. The company was renamed Cincinnati Beverage Company, and two years later it was sold to investor John Richardson.
