St. Feuillien brewery was founded in 1873 in Le Roeulx, Belgium by Stéphanie Friart. She passed the brewery down to her nephew Benoît Friart in 1910, who added a second brewery in the city center in 1920. The brewery was out of service throughout World War II, but when the war ended came back on line with Benoît’s son, also named Benoît, in charge, who still owns it with his sister Dominique.
