Warped Wing Brewery was founded in 2014 in Dayton, Ohio by Nick Bowman and John Haggerty. The brewery, based in the city where the Wright Brothers had their first flight, is named after a technique the brothers used for controlling their aircraft. Haggerty had been the head brewer at New Holland Brewery prior to starting the business, while Bowman had worked at Anheuser-Busch. The brewery has since expanded to 4 locations in Ohio.
