What does 2 TOWNS CIDERHOUSE Own?
2 Towns Ciderhouse was started in Corvallis, Oregon in 2010 by Lee Larsen, Dave Takush, and Aaron Sarnoff-Wood. Sarnoff-Wood was a graphic designer who wanted to start a brewpub, and contacted Larsen to discuss the idea. Upon understanding the high startup costs of the business, the pair pivoted to cider, and brewed a test batch for Larsen’s brother’s wedding in 2009. The following year they launched their brand in a small 1,000 square foot facility between the two college towns of Corvallis and Eugene; hence the name 2 Towns Ciderhouse.
By 2012, the company moved to a space ten times the size less than a block away, and by the following year was producing more than 4,500 barrels on an annual basis. In 2026, the company purchased Seattle Cider and began producing the cider in its own facilities.
